AIRWORTHINESS COURSE

Darling Downs Soaring Club (McCaffrey Field)

This course is aimed at Gliding Australia members who wish to become Gliding Australia Airworthiness Inspectors.  The intention is to build on knowledge already gained and to confirm sufficient knowledge and skills to be accredited as either a Component Replacement or Form 2 Inspector.

You must be a current Gliding Australia member to attend the course and to be issued and to hold any Gliding Australia airworthiness rating. 

Costs

The instructors and staff are all volunteer’s however there are fixed cost associated with running this course. A total fee of $250 is requested which is inclusive of all on-airfield accommodation and catering for the duration, or $170 if staying in alternate accommodation.  DDSC Members who already pay for accommodation at DDSC should pay only the reduced price.

This course has been subsidised by Gliding Queensland covering 50% of the course costs allowing us to provide the course at costs as per above.
